Richard B. Heath, 84, of Bellefontaine, passed away Friday evening, July 11, 2025, at Mary Rutan Hospital.
Richard was born on January 6, 1941, in Bellefontaine, to the late Wilmont Clayton Heath and Clara (Taylor) Heath. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Rosie Heath; and step-sisters Teddie Jean Wilson and Bennie Jo Buckner, and a step-cousin Bruce Newman.
Richard is survived by step-cousins: Barbara Carey of San Antonio, TX, Liz Cottriel of San Luis Obispo, CA, Chris Wilson and Melanie Wilson, both of Alcoa, Tennessee.
Richard worked at Airstream in Jackson Center for several years. He also worked at Spend-A-Day Marina, Bud’s Marine, Holloway Sportswear, and several restaurants at Indian Lake.
A graveside service will be held at a later date at Roundhead Cemetery. Richard’s wishes were to be cremated and to have half of his cremated remains buried in Roundhead Cemetery with his sister Rosie, and half in McMinn Memory Garden in Athens, Tennessee, on his father’s grave.
