Richard "Dick" Henderson

Dick- The tractor friend of mine. I remember the Ford tractor you bought from me 35-40 years ago. I cherished our visits with you and Don McKay. I know you loved your tractor collection, and driving your pickup truck wherever you went! R.I.P. my friend.

Dick was one of the first people I met when I entered Lapeer High as a first year teacher in August of 1971. I knew I would be off to a great start. Over the years, knowing Dick, Judy, their kids, and grandson, help made Lapeer Schools and Community a good place for me to live and work. My wife, Debbie, and I were sorry to learn of Dick´s passing. We extend our condolences and prayers to Judy and all of the family.

He was my shop teacher.

Richard was a quiet, gentle man with kind words for everyone. Growing up and visiting his parents with my mom and dad he always had smiles for we girls. He's a good childhood memory for us and will be missed.
