Richard C. Henry Sr., age 81, of Dandridge, passed away Friday, March 23, 2007. Mr. Henry was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Clayton Henry and Mary Oliver Henry. Survivors: Wife: Mary White Henry, of Dandridge, TN Daughter: Pamela Henry, of Knoxville, TN Son: Richard Henry Jr., of Denver, CO Granddaughter: Tracy Henry, of Nashville, TN Sisters: Helen Wright, of Big Stone Gap, VA, Margie Gheen, of Knoxville, TN Brother and sister-in-law: Kenneth Henry and wife Catherine, of Big Stone Gap, VA Several Nieces and Nephews In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 4205 Hillsboro Ave., Suite 200, Nashville, Tennessee, 37215. Funeral service 7 PM Monday in the East chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Dr. Robert McCray officiating. Interment will be 11AM Wednesday in Powell Valley Memorial Gardens in Big Stone Gap, Virginia. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Monday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
