As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. I recall the times our families were together in Shiraz so many years ago. It was a blessing that Dick was so active late into his life.

Dad called to let us know about Uncle Dick's passing. I'm so sorry to hear this. I will always remember when Mom, Nathan and I got stranded at your house and despite the situation, we had such a good visit there. Uncle Dick was alway such a delight to be around and will be missed. My prayers are with everyone for the lost. Renee

Sorry to hear of Dick's passing. We very much enjoyed his personality and wit when he lived in Murrysville (Imperial Highlands). He was one of the founding fathers of our neighborhood golf league, which still exists today.

My dad called last night with the news and was so sad. Mr Hornbeck will always be my favorite childhood neighbor "dad" and my memories of playing around the neighborhood, him taking me for rides on the back of his bicycle, and the house on Crest Drive are some of my very favorite. We are all saddened by Dick's sudden departure from this earth and
life. I wish I could be with you at this time and for the services but it
seems everyone is away this weekend at graduations and retreats,
etc. and we have doctors appointments. I would have to drive by
myself which would not make too many people happy. We are with
you in spirit as we know you will miss him so. Will be in touch.

I was so sorry to hear about Uncle Dick. He was so funny and one of my favorite uncles. He will be missed by so many. My thoughts and prayers are with all of the family. I love you all !
