Richard Joseph Inskeep, 68 of Mason, passed away on October 15, 2025. Born to Herbert and Mary (nee Donovan) Inskeep on June 24, 1957, in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Rick was passionate about anything Green Bay Packers related. He loved to attend games at Lambeau Field as a proud shareholder and season ticket holder, cheering on the team.
Rick enjoyed photography, whether it was of nature, his beloved Packers or his granddaughters. He could take the most amazing action shots or still photos. His love of the art of photography is shown in his pictures.
Rick had his own unique sense of humor and enjoyed sharing it with others. He was dependable and always made time for family and friends. His pride and joys were his granddaughters. He attended their events, loved spending time with them, and enjoyed taking their pictures at hockey games and Irish dance competitions.
Rick was known for his elaborate Christmas light display that lined the house and yard. He enjoyed the holidays and spending time with the family.
In his early years he enjoyed bowling and playing or watching soccer and volunteered his time coaching a youth soccer team. He had owned his own lawn and garden business prior to completing college and law school. He was very interested in Mason city government and was a frequent attendee at the city council meetings.
A devoted husband, father and grandpa who will be missed dearly.
Preceded in death by his parents.
Rick is survived by his wife of 39 years, Kathryn Inskeep (nee Wessel), his daughter, Carmen (Brandon) Lorenz, cherished granddaughters, Ashley Lorenz and Catie ‘Cai’ Lorenz, and a brother and sister and many cousins.
