Hanson-Runsvold Funeral HomeRichard C. Iverson, 45, died on November 7th, 2025 at home in West Fargo.
Rich was born August 4, 1980 to Rick and Val Iverson in Coon Rapids, MN. He graduated from Park Center High School in 1998.
He married Stacy M. Hall on November 6th, 2004. They welcomed a daughter, Bethany Rose, in 2007 and a son, Richard Ethan, in 2009.
Rich was raised in Brooklyn Park, MN and attended Brooklyn Park Evangelical Free Church with his parents and grandparents. From a young age, he was strong-willed and adventurous. According to pictures of the time, he spent much of his childhood climbing trees. He had a lifelong love of water. He spent countless weekends swimming, waterskiing, and cliff-jumping. He loved working with his hands and started working as a framer even before graduating from high school. He continued in various construction roles his entire life. He had an amazing ability to see things in his mind and then just build them. He had a knack for collecting scars and stitches, but they came with great stories. He gave the best hugs. Camping, hiking, and using chainsaws were favorite activities. He loved a good bonfire with friends. His love of the outdoors, deer hunting, and agates were also passions that he passed on to his children.
Rich had a very giving spirit and enjoyed helping the people he loved by using his skills with power tools and chainsaws. He assisted many with various repairs and projects over the years.
Rich is survived by his wife, Stacy, his daughter, Bethany, and his son, Ethan, all of West Fargo; his parents Rick and Val Iverson of Albuquerque, NM, his sister Ginny (Adam) Krumrie of Hutchinson, MN; his brother Nate (Laura) of Albuquerque, NM; two nephews, Josiah Krumrie and Conner (Lexi) Krumrie; two nieces, Elizabeth Krumrie and Emma Iverson; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Curtis and Irene Lefler and Richard and Lois Iverson.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM with a visitation one hour prior on November 23, 2025, at Salem Evangelical Free Church in Moorhead. The service will be followed by a meal at 4:00 PM.
