Richard L. Jones

Funeral services for Richard Lynn Jones, age 91 of Tyler, Texas, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home Chapel in Lindale, Texas with Bro. Mike Coyne officiating. Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Lindale City Cemetery.

Richard passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025, in Winnsboro, Texas. He was born August 5, 1934, in New Boston, Texas to the late Alonzo Franklin and Vernice (Atchley) Jones. Richard has lived in Tyler for the past 35 years and was previously of Texarkana and Irving, Texas. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War and later retired as a Purchasing Agent for over 25 years with Best Equipment in Tyler. In his spare time Richard was an airplane enthusiast, enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys, gardening, and spending time with his beloved family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Jones; daughter, Nancy Rinehart; and brother, Larry Jones.

Richard is survived by his daughter, Karen Adair of Lewisville; brother, Danny Jones and wife, Brenda of Texarkana; granddaughter, Katelyn Adair of Lewisville; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends.
