Wow! The many times I enjoyed school was when I was in Mr. Keel's Social Studies class. He made every student aware of what the goals were in his class and school. He pushed you to your best because he worked his hardest to teach us and make sure we understood. We learned to appreciate the good and bad of topics and grow from them. The kindest heart, calmest voice and dedication beyond words. The #1 Teacher/Professor by far and I am in my MBA days now because of him. God Bless To A Hero, My Hero he never gave up on me or anyone.

I last saw Dick several years ago. I still remember him vividly, however, and I always enjoyed chatting with him. Dick was a real gentleman. I enjoyed both his humor and his perceptive way of seeing the world. It's hard to believe that he's gone. I extend my sincerest condolences to his entire family.

Mr. Keel was a great man, teacher and neighbor. He's been my neighbor for pretty much my entire life. Was always willing to lend a hand or his tractor. It will be different not hearing the chain saw on Saturday mornings.

Condolences to the entire Keel family.

I was a student of his at RCS Junion High in Ravena. Mr. Keel was a GREAT teacher and always helped his students when they needed it. I remember his cheery smile and hearty laughter, as I could here it from down the hall. I LOVED his class and the way he taught it. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. May God comfort you in your time of sorrow.

I had Mr. Keel for Social Studies in 7th Grade in 1975-1976. He is at the top of the list of great teachers I had. He was respectful of his students and did hands on teaching, which was practically unheard of back then! He knew me from his days of delivering milk for Stalker's Dairy, but I didn't remember him. My father passed away that year from cancer and he was the only teacher to acknowledge it. I will always remember him for that.
