couple at CUMC -- seems they moved during the covid era, so am guessing

So sorry to hear of Dick's passing. Such a dear man. a leader and sports hero at Wm. Tennent High School and later at William and Mary. Throughout life always a man of integrity and grace. a deep and abiding faith always his guiding force.

Dick and Sharon were special neighbors in Greensboro for many years. Dick was a man who walked humbly and loved deeply. He will be greatly missed.

I am so so, sorry to hear about Richard's passing. He was a great friend and classmate for many years. Always with a smile and a hello. So sorry to hear about Dick passing away. He was a good Friend & athlete. The thing that thrilled me the most was when he threw me my first touchdown pass at Tennent. I'll never forget that nor the fun years we enjoyed together. Our best to his family.

Dick was a year behind me at WM Tennent HS and my backup QB and not far behind. Remembering him, I'm not at all surprised by the man described and remembered in his obituary. Best possible wishes to his entire family,
