Dear Carrie & sons, I am so sorry to hear of Richard´s passing. He was a great teacher to my daughter´s and so many others. We were all blessed to know him. Every time I look at my little rocker that he fixed for us I am reminded of you both, he did great work on that little rocking chair.

Words can't express how much you helped and taught me. Forever my favorite teacher, and far and away the most impactful one I ever had. Thank you Mr. Koch. Rest in Peace.

Mr. Koch was one of the few greats at that school. Teaching those who had no artistic ability that we truly did. My dad, sister, and I send our prayers for comfort to Mrs. Koch and family.

He did so much for me as a student. Showed me I had skills beyond art and the normal projects. I learned I could build the sets for plays, run wire etc.... I had value despite 0 artistic ability. He saw that and next thing I knew I saw I could do things others that could do art couldn´t.
