Richard Kramer, age 67 of Ruth, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Courtney Manor Nursing Center of Bad Axe. He was born on October 30, 1957 in Bad Axe, to the late Ralph and Evelyn (Block) Kramer. Rich worked as a machinist for many years. Rich and Delores Roberts were united in marriage on September 26,1981. He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church of Ruth, and the Ruth Knights of Columbus. He loved watching westerns on the television. Rich was great with his hands, whether it be woodworking or tinkering with other tools, he made them work. He was always up for a game of euchre, and enjoyed star gazing. He is survived by his wife Dee Kramer of Ruth, daughter Nichole (Yuya) Kramer-Kiuchi of Lansing, his siblings: Roger (Carolyn) Kramer, Sue (Frank) Wittliff, Rod Kramer, Randy Kramer, Robert (Judy) Kramer, Barb (Tim) Schmidt, Ron (Pam) Kramer, Nancy (Tom) Braun, Vicki (Dean) Essenmacher, his brothers and sisters-in-law: Ken (Lauretta) Roberts, Jerry Sweeney, Brenda Roberts, Doug (Dede) Roberts, Jan (Chris) Bolton, Pat (Elizabeth) Roberts, Mary Roberts, Jackie Volmering, and many nieces and nephews. Rich was preceded in death by his parent's: Ralph & Evelyn Kramer, father and mother-in-law: Bernard and Florence Roberts, brothers and sisters-in-law: Ray & Carol Volmering, Dan Roberts, Barb Sweeney, and Dale Roberts. Funeral Mass for Rich will be Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church of the Holy Apostles Parish with Fr. Anthony Pilli officiating. Burial will follow in the SSPP Church Cemetery. Visitation for Rich will be on Wednesday, in the church, from 9:30 am until time of services at 11 am. Arrangements are being handled by the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach. Memorials may be offered to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF) or the Christian Mother's of the Holy Apostles Parish. Memories can be shared at www.RamseyFH.com
