Richard Lacey Obituary
EAST GREENBUSH - Richard H. Lacey, 75, of East Greenbush, N.Y., passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2025, surrounded by friends and family.
Richard was born in Endicott, N.Y., the son of Richard H. Lacey and T. Lorraine Begley.
He graduated from Albany High School and Hudson Valley Community College, and was a proud car hauler and Teamster for most of his life before semi-retiring to drive for N.Y.S O.G.S.
Richard will always be remembered for his lively stories and vibrant personality, Saturday morning pancakes, love and admiration for his grandchildren, and the generosity that he showed his family and friends.
Survivors include his daughter, Beth Klein; two sons, Josh Lacey and Kyle Lacey; daughter-in-law, Nina Lawrence; son-in-law, Evan Klein; granddaughters, Rylan and Kennedy; grandson, Landon; and many beloved nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Donna S. Lacey; and his sister, Pamela Christie.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, October 28, between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m., In the Wm. J. Rockefeller Funeral Home, 165 Columbia Tpk., Rensselaer. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, October 29, at the funeral home. Interment will be in East Greenbush Cemetery.
Contributions in Richard's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
