Beloved husband of the late Barbara (Lehman). Dear father of Jennifer (Robert) Grisanti, Jeffrey (Jennifer) Lavelle and the late Richard and late Christopher Lavelle; Loving grandfather of Christianna, Emma, Elizabeth, Ava and Ryan. Great grandfather of Sophia, Isabella, Mia and Joseph. Brother of Thomas (Joan) Lavelle, Arlene Argerie, Fred (Ellen) Lavelle, and Jack Lavelle. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday November 8th at 9:30AM at St. John XXIII Parish, 1 Arcade Street in West Seneca. No prior visitation, please assemble at church. Burial to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice Buffalo. Arrangements by the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME INC., online condolences at www.CANNANFH.com.

We have always enjoyed being with Dick and Barb. They were welcoming, kind and generous. They were very proud of their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. It was always about faith and family. Rest in Peace Dick
