Richard, I was at Port Soif Bay, Guernsey yesterday and I was thinking of you and then low and behold this came up. Happy memories when our children were small. We lived next to your parents. I will never forget you.

I met Richard here in Guernsey when he first came to see his parents, who happened to be my next door neighbor. I adored him and we eventually lost touch. Richard was one of the first actors I met at my first convention - Celebration III. I had been really nervous to talk to any of them because I was just a fan and they were famous amazing actors. Richard was so down to earth and friendly; he made me feel so comfortable and we ended up talking for quite a while. He was genuinely interested in getting to know me and showed what a great kind gentleman he truly is every time I saw him.

Richard and I met some years ago around the fringes of Bath Cricket Club where I was an Umpire. Always a friendly smile and a perceptive wit -- a joy to have around!

Had the privilege to meet you in New York City and have dinner with you. You're a fine gentleman and will be greatly missed.

Thank you for being so kind to the newbie. You were my first celebrity sighting at my first volunteer experience at a con; THEN, you showed up to dinner after. :) May you Rest in Peace. Prayers for your family and loved ones.

I only met Richard briefly. But he was a charming man filled with life and hope. There is a loss of talent and dreams for one taken so early. I feel the loss for his family and friends.

Enjoyed our, much too short, close friendship. Adored the times we spent together and I'll surely miss your wit, humor, charm, endearing phone calls, messages and not having the chance to see you again. Saying goodbye to you is so hard. I'm humbled by one message you sent me, that you "liked having me in your life and you were glad we met" I truly enjoyed having you in mine. Missing you with a heavy heart... my deepest condolences to your family that you proudly spoke of so often. It was always exciting to see Richard when he came to Austin. He did some extraordinary things, and had great stories. He was a true friend, always ready to listen, reassure and support. I loved his humor and will always remember several of his stories, and fun adventures we had on the Petanque court!

Richard. Thankyou for the frindship, advice and assistance you've given me. It was a pleasure knowing, working and socializing with you. Maybe one day we'll meet again.
