Richard Lester Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 11, 2011.
Richard “Chief Lester was born in Poplar, Montana on January 4, 1942. He passed away on February 11, 2011 in Stockton, CA. Chief leaves behind his loving wife of 40 yrs., Helene, seven children, Richard, Morgan, Lulu, Neville, Neva, Wilbur and Elena. 14 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Richard was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was a great conversationalist that intrigued everyone with his stories. He always had something to talk about and spoke his mind. We loved that about him. Rich was a retired mechanic of thirty years. His hobbies were collecting music and reading. He read everything and anything. He loved to read. The Chief will be greatly missed by all. He is in our hearts for Eternity. A Celebration of Life will be held at DeYoung Memorial Chapel 601 N. California St., Stockton on February 22, 2011 at 1 P.M. A visitation will be held from 11am to 1 pm
