He was born on June 3, 1966 to parents, Paul Dennis Sutcliffe and Janice Barker Sutcliffe in Pomona, California.
Rich attended high school in Nixa, Missouri in 1984. After graduation, Rich went in the U.S. Navy to serve aboard the USS Duncan as a cook.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Janice Barker Troutt; stepfather, Alex Troutt; stepmother, Sharon Sutcliffe; grandfather, Everett Barker; and grandmother, Floydene Barker.
Richard is survived by his wife, Vickie Turrell-Sutcliffe of Fountain, Colorado; his sons, Logan Turrell-Sutcliffe, Justin Sutcliffe, Tristain Sutcliffe, Leonard "T.J." (Amy Rodriguez) Turrell Jr., Jeremy Turrell and Bryan Turrell; his daughters, Jennifer (Geoffrey Gautieri) Turrell -Gautieri and Rebecca Turrell; his father, Paul Sutcliffe of Bandon, Oregon; his sisters, Julie Stanford of Springfield, Missouri and Susan Countryman of Republic, Missouri; his father-in-law, Glendon Fenning, Jr. of Colorado Springs, Colorado; brother-in-law, Kenton (Kara) Fenning of Mesa, Arizona; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
