I am a WW2 Marine Veteran who served in the Pacific for 35 months. I did not land on Iwo but I did make the landing on Okinawa and served in North China. I remember some Longsworth's in Ft. Wayne, but Richard's name escapes me. I wish to pass on my condolenses to surviving family members.

You have been a very wonder and loving neighbor. Carl and I could not have gotten our garage built without your help. We enjoyed many of your stories about the neighborhood. Watch out up there, do not get him started on government and there spending.
