Sorry to hear Donald and David, from Jay Mike and Kevin Higgins.

We have wonderful memories of Uncle Dick growing up in a large extended Ahern family in Holyoke Mass. Uncle Dick always had a joke to share and a few good stories to make us laugh. Our thoughts and prayers are with you today as you celebrate Dick's life. We also remember Aunt Rosemary and Cousin Paula Martin.

Just the other day we were reminiscing about Dick and Rosemary and their love for birds. Dick's dogwood studded with grandchildren. Rosemary's Christmas cacti - whose babies now flower here in Maine every winter. And Dick and Vic's kitchen, producing all those fabulous treats which, with the clap of the screen door, would miraculously appear on our door step. We feel privileged to call ourselves friends and not just neighbors; they will stay in our hearts as long as our hearts are beating. I know we are better people for having known Dick and Rosemary and their whole clan and our love goes out to all of you.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your loved ones. I'm so sorry for your loss. Your Dad was such a sweet man who never had a bad thought about anyone. RIP, Dick Martin. Thank you for your kindness & guidance, especially when my children & I lived beside You. You will be missed.
