Richard McDonald Obituary
Richard Larry McDonald, a resident of Mobile, AL, passed away at the age of 84 February 16,2025.
He is survived by his step daughter Connie Lewis McCaskill (Ron); step son Mark Lewis (Susan); daughter Tara McDonald Hinton (David); son Ricky McDonald (Ashley); many grand children and great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife Iva Fay McDonald; mother Vaida Phar McDonald; daughter Karen McDonald Howard; brothers James McDonald, Aubrey McDonald, Wilber McDonald; sisters Thelma McDonald Coggins and Cheralyn McDonald Bolen.
He worked at Ingalls Shipbuilding for more than 30 years He was a member of Mobile's Conde Cavaliers Mardi Gras Society for many years. He enjoyed spending time on Dog River fishing and boating on his house boat the "Summer Day"
Visitation will be held Monday, February 24,2025 11am followed by funeral service 12pm at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
