Richard "Rick" Loyd McIntosh, Jr., 60, of Davidson, NC, passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023.
He was born on September 27, 1963 in Charlottesville, VA, to Richard L. McIntosh and the late Carolyn Hager McIntosh. Rick was a long-distance truck driver, enjoyed coaching his girls' softball, and was a car enthusiast. He loved his family and spending time with them; he was the #1 Pop.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by sisters, Janice McIntosh, Sondra Curtis; and granddaughter, Kelsey Jones.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine "Cathy" Bleacher McIntosh; father, Richard; children, Sabrina McIntosh, LaNell Jones and husband, Riggs, Ashley Casarella and husband, Jordan, Janice Pruitt and husband, Travis, Brittney Trevathan and husband, Ryan, Rikki Shull and husband, Corey, Richard "Trey" McIntosh and wife, Sydney; grandchildren, Kamdyn, Laynie, Jakson, Holden, Gray, CJ, Ayden, Richard "Mac", Noah, Allie, and baby Trevathan; sister, Cheryl Fitzpatrick; brother, Scot McIntosh and wife, Janie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 15 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 16 at Shearers Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. Stephen Stout and Cory Wing officiating.
