Richard J. Morin

Richard J. Morin 78, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023. He was born on July 6, 1944, in Bennington, Vermont to Joseph and Bertha Morin. Richard was the general manager at Mohawk Sportswear in Amsterdam which later was renamed Baker Studio, for over 20 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and spent every hunting season at camp in Cooperstown with his hunting crew. He enjoyed camping and boating with his family.
He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Bertha Morin, and his sister Shirley Hall. Richard is survived by his wife Bonnie, children Brian Zilles of Syracuse, Keith Zilles (Joy) of Fonda, Lori Davis (Mitch) of Bennington, Vermont, Marissa Guisti (Jason) of Perth, and Richard Morin, Jr. (Jen) of Amsterdam; sister Charlene Mahlman (William) of Dorset, Vermont, brother Frank Morin (Carol) of Bennington, Vermont, grandchildren Peyton, Troy, Johnathan, and many additional grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Tuesday, January 10 from 5pm to 7pm at Armer Funeral Home, Inc., 39 East High Street, Ballston Spa. Memorial contributions in memory of Richard may be made to Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, CurePSP, 1216 Broadway 2nd Floor, New York, NY 10001.
