Dick was a good friend and Diebold Colleague. While I had no knowledge his early athletic prowess I knew of his musical abilities and other talents. He was a true Renaissance Man and a really nice guy. May he rest in peace. Bill Fuqua

The picture attached is last bass the Dick Nelson caught in my boat in Alabama. Dick and three great friends spent many a week on Smith Mountain Lake. He always had a great smile and warm welcome. May Dick Rest in Peace.
