Richard Paquin, 73, of Leesburg, Florida, passed away on November 19, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.

Richard was a man of warmth, generosity, and kindness. He loved fishing, cruising, camping, country music, watching NASCAR, and he idolized Michael Jordan. He found peace in the outdoors and joy in adventure. Richard fiercely loved his wife, Lisa, and his daughter Rachel-they were his greatest pride, and he moved mountains for them. He also adored his dogs, Milo and Lacey.

Richard dedicated countless hours to serving his community. He volunteered at his church, at the local hospital, and for Rachel's high school marching band. He had a gift for making friends wherever he went-whether at the store, on vacation, or simply running errands. He never hesitated to strike up a conversation, and it often seemed inevitable that he'd bump into someone he knew.

Richard possessed a natural knowledge for craftsmanship and repair. He had a library of tools in his garage and he always knew how to fix any appliance with no hesitation. He built Lisa numerous additions for the house and was constantly working on new projects. Lisa and Rachel relied on him for his expertise because he always had a solution.

Richard is survived by his wife Lisa, his daughters Rachel and Devin, his three sisters Debbie, Dotsy, and Nancy, his sister-in-law Stacey, and all their beloved children, along with his grandson Clayton and the many cousins, nieces, and nephews who loved him dearly. He also leaves behind countless friends and community members whose lives he touched.

Richard was a great father, husband, and friend. His love, kindness, and generosity were rare. He wanted everyone around him to be happy. His memory will continue to brighten the lives of everyone who loved him and his presence will be greatly missed until the end of time.
