Dear Kay,

We came to visit you, on 14 Feb 2017, at the old church, where you used to live. We wanted to surprise you, because we brought Elder Yang Gi-Oook and his wife, Sister Kim Ok-Sun, with us. (Your phone number is no longer in the white pages, on the Internet, so I couldn't call ahead anyway.)

We were sorry to hear from Sister Susan Biesinger, yesterday (Feb 18), that Dick has passed away. We loved him dearly. You were both such a bright spot in our mission, and we loved how you shared so many of your experiences together. The richness of your love for each other will affect us forever, as we treasure the memory of serving in the Seoul Korea Temple with you.

Sister Biesinger also proffered that she thought you have since remarried. I hope that is true; that you are able to continue to exude that brightness that always surrounded you. We love you.

May God be with you always,

Elder David and Sister Avonne Goff

Dear Kay,
We had such a fun time getting to know you and Elder Partridge "Dick" on our mission together at the Seoul Korea Temple. We were always so impressed by the rich memories you and Dick shared with us of all the experiences you had together. You generated an excitement for life in everyone you met! We were serving our second mission to the Seoul Korea Temple when Dick passed away, so we didn't know he had.

We actually drove up to see you on 14 Feb 2017, to the old church where we last saw you and Dick. We had a surprise for you--some visitors from Korea. You may remember one of our temple missionary couples, Elder Yang Gi-Ook and Sister Kim Ok-Sun. We were sorry to miss you. It appears you have sold your house, but we couldn't find anyone home there, nor did we see anyone at the Brigham City Temple, who knew your whereabouts.

It was Sister Susan Biesinger who told us yesterday that Dick had passed away. She also proffered that you may have remarried. We truly hope so, and that all that beautiful energy you exude so generously will serve to brighten the lives of others, as you have ours, just from knowing you a short time.

We love you, dear Sister Kay. Take care.

Dick was another one of the many Crusader Drivers I had the fortune to fly with. He was my wingman in tactics flying the F-8 with bomb racks on one wing. At the time Dick had twice as much time in the plane and I learned a lot from him. Those days will always be special to me. Dick was big on making sure our pilots did not take second seat to any and all comers. We were in VF-124 at the time and took many pictures of F-4 tail cones for Happy Hour viewing. Dick has quite a few fellow Crusader Drivers to tell St Peter how it was back when. Family you have a excellent contact for you up there now. Rest In Peace Dick. "Silver"
