Richard Pisarski Sr. Age 80

Richard Pisarski Sr. was reunited in heaven on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, with his beloved wife, JoAnn-his best friend and devoted spouse of 53 years. Together, they built a life grounded in faith, family, and love.

Richard is survived by his son, Rich Jr. (Cary) Pisarski, his daughter, Julie (Ted) Meehan, and six cherished grandchildren: Anthony, Danny, Ryan, Ben, Sophia, and Julia. His grandchildren were the greatest joy of his life, and he never missed a sporting event or activity, always showing up with pride and unwavering support.

In 1976, Richard and JoAnn founded PICO Chemical, building it into a thriving family business. Richard leaves behind not only a successful company, but also a strong family legacy of hard work, dedication, and love-one he was deeply proud of.

Richard was a fantastic cook, as attested by his family, friends, and PICO employees. He had a strong personality that always captured attention, and when you made him smile, there was no doubt-you mattered to him and made his day.

Richard was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need and generously supported numerous philanthropic organizations that were close to his heart. His life was defined by love, hard work, and service to others.

His deep love of God, devotion to Jesus and St. Jude, and lifelong commitment to the Catholic Church served as a constant inspiration to his family and friends.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Angeline Pisarski, and his siblings, Joseph and Adrienne. He was also a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews, all of whom he held dear.
