Richard Pyle Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 3, 2021.
Richard (Ritchie) Pyle, Phoenix, AZ, Born 4/27/66 passed away 4/3/21.  He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Angel Pyle; his son Joshuah Martinez-Duran (Scott); his son James Pyle (Jocelyn); his daughter Alanah Pyle (Elizabeth); and his grandson Kaiden.       Ritchie envisioned how his life would play out all the way to the end, complete with the Final Countdown, and to say he lived life by his own rules is an understatement. Ritchie was a one of a kind, hard headed, hard working, witty, generous, loving man.  He was a jack of all trades, there was nothing he couldn't make or fix and the finished products were always spectacular.     Ritchie's greatest accomplishment was his family that he built together with his wife Angel.  They had an immediete, one of a kind, deep love that they could never deny for 25 years. Through all the good, the bad and the ugly they knew they would make it through anything and be stronger together every time.  An indescribable simple touch between them was all it would take to remind them, repeatedly, they were undeniably soulmates and they could never be apart for long.     Ritchie found his ultimate high in life by being a Dad. To say he took great PRIDE when it came to all three of his kids was an understatement. Embracing that PRIDE came very easy to him, never hesitant always loving and proud. The constant spoilings and occasssional scoldings were his specialty.  He was beyond eager to provide them their foundations to become unique, true to themselves, individuals that he loved bragging about.  He relished the opportunities to share his own real life unedited stories with them to prepare them for their different stages in life. He thoroughly enjoyed taking advantage of embarrassing them anytime, anywhere. He made Pyle dinners rather interesting, educational, entertaining and yes even embarrassing. That meant ANY topic, sex, drugs, rock-n-roll or anything at all, was allowed to be discussed at dinner, uncensored, without fear of punishment or shame. Dinner time was Family time. Most importantly he made sure to enrich their lives with music which was playing 24/7 sometimes and always loud. He firmly believed music heals the soul and he was always giving them messages through certain songs, many many songs, to help them during anything in life but most importantly he created precious heartfelt memories with each of them.    Ritchie dreamed of the day he would have a grandson to take fishing and luckily that dream did come true.  He was not prepared to actually have to fish out every bobber he owned out of the lake instead of catching fish, but the laughter was priceless.  Although brief, his time of being G-Pa made him full of life, which he truly enjoyed and embraced every minute of.  He felt honored to be called G-Pa by the most adorable, fun, energetic, grandson ever.      Ritchie was very passionate about building a family bond with his wife and three kids. A lifelong pact of devotion to each other that is completely indestructible by anyone or anything. Some have tried and all have failed. Right, wrong or indifferent they have each other's backs at all times no matter what is happening in life or how far apart they are from one another. His desire and determination to be Pyle Strong was impressive and has even proven rewarding. They are and will always be The Pyle 5!      Ritchie you did an awesomely amazing job in everything you set out to do.  There was always a reason for everything you did in life and those reasons are becoming more clear now.  You now know the truth of who has and who doesn't have your back in this life, right, wrong or indifferent and who has been loyal and true to only you. You played hard and you played fast and at times you may have even played unfair; now it's time to relax and just be a spectator. You are finally free from all the pain of the past that haunted you your whole life and you most certainly get to rest in peace now. Above all else, you deserve to be most remembered for all the good you have done in your life and we know that list is endless. So we will proudly keep telling your story forever.  The good has always out weighed the bad. Thanks for all the music and songs you made sure to share with each of us. We will always think of you and be reminded of how much you loved us everytime "our" songs are played. It has been our honor to have shared not just a part of your life with you, but to be and share the best of the best part of you and your life with you. Please watch over us and keep us safe.   Ritchie/Dad/Pops/Daddy/G-Pa~ We Miss You Very Much & We Love You Unconditionally Always & Forever!!  To complete Ritchie's requests upon his death there will be no services and he also asked, if you are able to, please make a donation to help battle Drug Addiction, in memory of Ritchie Pyle. We have chosen, the non-profit organization, ShatterProof, www.shatterproof.com. Thank You.

What a journey this last year has been. As you saw today, your Celebration of Life turned out better than expected. So many people who love & miss you came to offer their Ritchie Stories to the kids. You touched so many lives in so many ways. I thank God everyday still for putting you in my life. You truly are an amazing soul. Keep watch over all our babies and keep helping them get thru all their hard times like only you can do. I miss you and I love you always & forever.

Babe, well you were right you were home to me by your birthday, just not in the way we discussed. As you know May 1st, I began what I promised & started our travels. I am beyond thankful that you were with me & doing what you do with keeping me safe & still being the best music DJ of our travels. Playing one of the first songs I danced for you to...Romeo by Dolly Parton....was one of those terrific memories that I thought you forgot about. I should know better by now that you remember every little thing. You are forever my friend, my lover, my Romeo, my husband, my soulmate & now my angel. I am grateful for all the reassurances you made to me along the way. They were comforting even thru all my tears. The best is yet to come. I am not one to break my promises to you, which you clearly are well aware of now, so after my recharging in the safe place that you made sure I would be taken care of, I will finish our dream. I just need a little more reassurances & gain a little more courage & muster up the strength it will take me to complete our dream that I have been waiting for so long to see come true. I am scared but excited. I am not 100% that I can do this alone but you know if needed I will have someone WE trust to join us. No matter what I will do you proud. You have clearly watched us all in our own struggles with this & I continue to trust you to do what you always do for each of us. You are missed so very much every single day. The love that you built this family with is still very much strong & is unconditionally always & forever amongst us. We will be together again soon which you already know. I miss you so very much & that you knew from the get go 25yrs ago. Words are just words you told me but what we shared together, the best of the best of us that we promised that only we would get of each other, the many years will never die away & will live on thru our kids. I got all of you & I am honored to have had all of you. ~A&F~
