Richard Felix Ramirez

Richard Felix Ramirez passed away peacefully to join the love of his life in her heavenly abode on February 9th, 2026. An absolutely adoring husband, he often spoke about how lucky he had been to spend 62 years with Mary Frances, who inspired him to become a better man every day.

Where Mary was tranquil, Richard was energetic and brimming over with life. A lifelong fan of boxing, he loved to perch on his favorite stool in front of the television and shadow box with his favorite fighters. Richard was also a passionate biker and runner, chugging along the Santa Ana River Trail daily, and complaining when he didn't have the time to finish at least ten miles.

Sundays were the stuff of family legend. After driving Mary to church, they would often take the entire family for a drive, wandering the highways and side streets of Southern California to enjoy the hum of the road, always finding new places, new towns to explore.

He didn't consider himself a 'practicing' Catholic but he spoke out loud to the Lord, amiably confessing his shortcomings and professing his love for his "better half."

Richard is survived by two sons, Edward and Steve, plus his grandson, James along with his brother George, as well as sisters Margaret, Linda and Irene. He will be reunited in the afterlife with Mary and their eldest son, Michael.
