Mr. Richard "Steve" Rieckenberg, 61, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023, at MUSC in Florence.
Mr. Rieckenberg was born on February 16, 1962, in Myrtle Beach, son of the late Will George Rieckenberg and Cynthia Floyd Rieckenberg. He was a mechanic, a "Ford Man", enjoyed working on cars, and riding his motorcycle. Steve enjoyed playing the guitar, singing and loved listening to rock and country music. He loved being with his family, especially his grandkids.
Surviving are his sons, Michael Rieckenberg of Marion, Tyler (Jenna) Rieckenberg and Daniel Rieckenberg, both of Florence; grandchildren, Jackson Boyd, Holdyn Rieckenberg, Mariella Rieckenberg and Wells Rieckenberg; siblings, Angela Furey, Will Rieckenberg, Christie Rieckenberg Cooper, all of New York.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later time.
