Richard Rodriguez

Richard Rodriguez, age 56, passed away February 14th, 2026. He was born to Heriberto Jr & Minerva Rodriguez in Corpus Christi, Tx where he was raised and graduated from Mary Carroll High School in 1988.

He enlisted in the Navy due to his great love for his country and patriotism. He loved to fish, cook and spend time with friends. He will always be remembered for his laughter, wit and devotion to family. It is fitting he parted on the day of love, Valentine's, as he will always be remembered for the love he gave.

Richard was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle. Left to cherish his memories are sons (Ryan Rodriguez and Jeff Mathis), grandson (Eric Rodriguez), parents (Heriberto Jr & Minerva Rodriguez), siblings and spouses (Ed & Kathleen Rodriguez) (Noe & Carmen Rodriguez), (Mario Rodriguez & Bobby Howeth) (Marina & David Samaniego). Nephews and Nieces (Krista Samaniego, Simon Samaniego, Alexander Rodriguez, Max Rodriguez, Armin Rodriguez, Christina Rodriguez, Roman Samaniego, Ava Samaniego).

Visitation will be held 10am-11:30am Saturday, February 28th, 2026, and a Funeral Service from 11:30am-12:30pm at Seaside Funeral Home, 4357 Ocean Dr, Corpus Christi, TX 78412. Internment will take place at 1pm at Seaside Memorial Park.
