Richard A. Schaefer

Uncle Richie, my mom´s (Peggy) brother impressed me as a devoted son to my Grandmother (Rose). We did not see him much as our families grew, but I knew Uncle Richie took care of his brother, my Uncle Billy. I appreciate the occasional note and photo he sent of Uncle Billy.

Of the few times I did see Uncle Richie, he struck me as a man of few words. I will always remember his smile and bright blue eyes.
