Mrs. Schelker -- Richard's family and mine were next-door neighbors on Brand Avenue from the spring of 1956 until Mrs. Schelker moved away. My Dad died in 1994 and that was the last time I saw Richard, who was very kind at the time. He liked my Dad very much and was very sad to see him go. I played baseball with Rich in the 1950's. We were on the Tucker Tire little league team. We went to different schools so we were only baseball team friends.
