Richard Schofield Obituary
Richard Howard "Rich" Schofield, 62, of Findlay, passed away at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay. Rich was born September 27, 1963, in Portales, New Mexico, the son of Paul Schofield and Nancy (Phillips) Hall, and his mother survives in Saginaw, Michigan.
He is also survived by a son, Richard A. Schofield of Findlay, and a daughter, Shawna M. Schofield of Findlay. Rich has two sisters, Karen (Greg) Stiffler of Midland, Michigan, and Jennifer (Aaron) Gebauer of Saginaw, Michigan. He was blessed with a grandson, Canyn Schofield.
Rich worked as a carpenter. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and vintage car racing. He was a 1981 graduate of Bonanza High School, Las Vegas, Nevada.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME. Graveside services will follow immediately at Knollcrest Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to either The University of Findlay and/or Richard S. "Doc" Phillips Discovery Center.
