SHORT, Richard Ray - of Millington and Clio, age 46, died Wednesday, June 8, 2005 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 11am Monday, June 13, 2005 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Burial in Pinegrove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday and Sunday from 12-4 & 6-9pm and on Monday from 10 AM until time of service. Rick was born November 22, 1958 in Flint, Michigan to Ray and Colleen (Stephens) Short. He had resided in the Clio area most of his life. Richard married Pamela Ridley on November 7, 1987. He was employed with Shorts Roofing Company for over 20 years and was a member of the Roofers Local #149. He came from a very large family. Surviving are: his wife, Pamela; 2 children, Andrea and Derrick Short of Millington; father, Ray (Phyllis) Short of Clio; sisters, Sue (David) Miller of Clio, Pam (Chuck) Howell of Clio; step-brothers, Greg (Jan) Bundy of Flushing, Jeff (Tracey) Bundy of Fenton; brothers-in-law, Richard Ridley of Millington, Timothy (Margaret) Ridley of Mt. Morris; grandmother, Lucy Short of Hale; mother & father-in-law, Glen and Carolyn Ridley of Mt. Morris; several nieces and nephews.
