Richard Edward Southard, 49, of Rochester, NH died peacefully at his home, November 27.
He was born in Plainview, NY in 1976 to Peggy Moschella and Edward Southard. Ritch graduated from Wall HS and joined the Air Force. After his service in the USAF, Ritch later moved to MS where he began his career path in the casino industry. Ritch and his family moved to Rochester to be part of the opening team at the Lilac Club Casino. Ritch loved his work and being part of the team. In his free time Ritch loved spending time with his family exploring New Hampshire and the surrounding areas in New England.
Ritch was preceded in death by his father, Edward Southard, grandparents; Arlene Murray, Stanley and Mildred Southard and Aunt Anne Hill. He is survived by his three children- Emily, Richie Jr., Paul, wife- Erin, mother- Peggy (Micheal) Moschella, brother- David Southard, sister- Holly Johnson Kees, grandfather- James T. Rossi Jr. (Audrey), many aunts, uncles, cousins and so many very special friends.
A celebration of life will be held at 3pm, Friday, December 12 at First United Methodist Church of Rochester, 34 S. Main St. Rochester, NH.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to the First UMC Steeple Fund or Juvenile Diabetes Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
