It´s amazing, the impact someone can have,
saying "Good Morning" and "Have a great day" when you go to the store.

As someone who worked with Rick,
he did far more than that.
He made it known he was happy to be there,
happy to see you, and made it a point to be invested in the interests and days
of his coworkers.

Asking about my skateboarding
or how many laps I ran around the
building before I clocked in.
He´s cool like that.

Having also worked with his son, James
piecing together (rather late)
that they were father and son,
was a surprise, but made a lot of sense.
James inherited that
ambition to wear his interests and dreams on his sleeve, as he did the work to get closer to them.
That infectious positivity, that inspires everyone around them, to do the same.

Rick is testament to being the best
at what you do, and allowing it to show the best in yourself.

James, I am sorry sorry for the loss of your Dad! Losing a parent is a very hard thing he was still so young. I am here if you need me. Donna
