Richard "Dick" Spirawk

Richard "Dick" Spirawk, age 85, of Bethel Park, formerly of Upper St. Clair, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022.
He was the son of the late Sophie and Andrew Spirawk.
Beloved husband of Carol Spirawk for 59 years; loving father of Susan (Joe) Billetdeaux, Ellen (Bradd) Zullo and the late Richard Spirawk Jr.; and cherished grandpa of Anna and Jack Billetdeaux and Lexxine Zullo.
Dick earned a Bachelors degree in Chemistry and a minor in Philosophy from Union College and he proudly served in the US Marine Corps. Following his service, he worked many years in metal sales, later owning his own business. He earned his pilots license, enjoyed traveling all over the world with his wife, was an avid reader and was a prolific writer. He loved going to dinner with close friends, trying new wines, dancing with Carol and family gatherings. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Family and friends are welcome, Saturday, June 4, 2022 from 10 am until the time of service at 12 noon at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546.
