Mr. & Mrs. Straub were like second parents to me in the years I worked at the DQ. Their generosity and kindness are something I will never forget. I can't find the right words to express what the entire Straub family meant to me back then and the special place I will forever hold for them all in my heart and memories.

Oh Richard, we have such found memories of you, your brother, Chuck and Sister Barb coming out to Mentor to our "farm" when we had all the picnics out there at my Mom, Anna and Dad, Phil's place. I so remember when we used to play hide and seek at night, and you guys hid on the top of the playhouse. And when you and my sister, Phyllis decided to dig a swimming hole in the back in the field and gave up on the first day, but left a wonderful polliwog pond where we used to gather them in the spring.

You will sorely be missed my cousin, but certainly will not be forgotten. Tell all our folks up there in Heaven we will see them soon too.
