To the Strode family,

I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one.
I worked at Champion and knew Dick as a very kind and caring person. He made you feel a part of the Champion family. I am grateful to have known him. May you find comfort in your wonderful memories of him.

It would be difficult to find a more kind, caring, and insightful gentleman. Dick built his life on firmly grounded morality and always was one who would "walk the talk." I have many fond memories in business travel and reporting to this gentleman in the work place. I often feel indebted to him for his advice and council, and it has been a privilege to have shared so much time with him.
Rest in peace, my friend.
