What a wonderful man and principal! I would see him often the past seven years. He actually knew his students: their interests, family, etc. when I think back to my high school days, he is one of the images I see. Everyone loved him, and he is one of the reasons I became an educator. All educators should aspire to be the kind of educator he was.

Mr. Summey was a wonderful Principal at GHS - he was very kind during my senior year after my father passed. May his memory be a blessing.

Mr. Summer was my middle school principal. He was always smiling and you could tell he loved working with the students at PRMS. I´ve had the opportunity to see him over the years and he was always so happy to see his former students and how well we did in our lives. He will be missed. Sending love and prayers for the family.

Mr Summey was one of the sweetest men I've ever known. He was an outstanding principal at Brookland Cayce High School,I had the privilege of being around him every morning in 1984 as a Senior officer. His smile and hugs were always welcomed.
He was a humble man and always there for each one of us. He always took time to listen and he definitely cared for his students and faculty.
There really hasn't been a day after I graduated that I haven't thought about him. I treasure my memories of him and so very thankful I had such a kind individual to lead me into my future.
As we celebrate our 40th Reunion on
May 18th we will definitely hold him close in our hearts and memories.
I will always adore you Mr Summey. Thank you for loving us, Until I see you again, May the Lord be shining his grace upon you in heaven now.
Lifting his family and friends up during this time. He left behind a beautiful legacy and I will admire him always.
God bless each of you.
With much love,
Robin and Ronnie Crapps
