Richard J. Taglieri

Dave and I enjoyed spending time with Richard and Mary at the Lloyd Thomas Reunions. He was such a nice person and we will miss him. Richard served on board with Dave as well. Our deepest condolences to the family.

Richard, a trumpet player, was very enthusiastic and supportive of our grandson Mason, who played Taps on his trumpet at our USS Loyd Thomas crew reunion in Phoenix when he was 10 years old. Mason remembers him, and of course, so do we. It was really good to see Mary and Richard at last year´s reunion in Annapolis. Richard was a great guy and wonderful to visit with. He will be sorely missed by many people.

I enjoyed our family zoom calls to keep in touch with the family, even during the pandemic.

I always enjoyed celebrating the holidays with Uncle Richard!
