We were in rival Squadrons at the Academy. Friendly of course. 1st Group. Dick was in 4th Sq and I was in 2nd Sq. A great guy and very bright. Sorry to hear of his passing. I will join him as well as the rest of the Class of `63. Ad Novos Mundos. I salute a Warrior. Go Falcons! Go War Eagles! Bob Brenci

Bobbie and I spent many happy hours with Dick and Carol at the Sewards at Glen Lake MI. Dick enjoyed walking in the woods. He will certainly be missed by friends and family. He served his country and society well.

Dick and I played football in High School against each other never knowing we would meet again as 4th classmen. After retirement he helped me transition to civilian employment. Since I married a girl from Harrisburg, Dick was a friendly face after our Air Force days. Best wishes to all his family. We will miss him. Dean Hess from Collegeville Trappe, PA.

My condolences to family. I knew Dick well from athletics at the Academy. Great guy. Salute his service in SEA. Sad loss from the best class ever, "The Golden Boys " of `63.

I am deeply saddened at Dick´s passing and send my condolences to Carol and the rest of the Troy family. While mere words can do so little to lessen the grief felt by all who knew him, I hope all can find solace in the knowledge that he now rests in God´s loving embrace. Sonny Sloan
