Clinton- Richard E. Tull, 87, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, surrounded by family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Mary Ellen "Jinx" (Duffy) Tull, his children Caroline MacDonald & partner Tim, Dennis Botelho & his wife Margaret, Kevin Botelho & his wife Susan, and Robin Delawder & her husband Larry; grandchildren, Danielle, Brent, Mary Elizabeth, Gabriel, Rebecca, Amanda, and Carlie; great-grandchildren, Blake, Nathan, Aurelia, Jayde, Eden, Maggie, Makayla, Jack, Walter, Graham, Seth Jr, Devante, Lorenzo, Emma, Joseph, and Daisy; sister, Jaqueline; nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. He is pre-deceased by his grandson Seth Tull; and siblings, Daniel, Barbara, Helen, Bonnie, Darlene, Carol, Wava, and Diana.
Richard was born and raised in Springfield, Ohio to the late Charles & Caroline Marie (Bunker) Tull. He proudly served our country during the Vietnam War, first enlisted in the United States Navy for 4 years, and then enlisted in the United States Army. After his service, Richard went on to work a variety of jobs, most notably as a pharmacy technician. A man of many hobbies and interests, he was blessed with a brilliant mind and talents. Richard held a deep appreciation for the arts and was an amazing pianist and loved community theater, where he was involved with the Worcester County Light Opera Company for over 10 years. He was also Quarter Master at his local VFW. Above all, Richard was a man of devotion and compassion for his family, friends, and community.
A Memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton. Donations may be made in memory of Richard Tull to: Clinton VFW Post 523, 10 Allen St., Clinton, MA 01510. Online condolences may be placed at www.philbincomeaufh.com
