Richard Scott Vermeern, 67 years old, of Appleton, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on the morning of November 10th, 2025, with family by his side. He was born on April 13th 1958 in Appleton, WI to his parents Jack and Margaret (Brown) Vermeern.

Dick was an avid hunter and loved doing anything out in the woods. He especially enjoyed spending time with Lynn and his 2 dogs Max and Ozzy. He had an extremely sharp mind for math, strategy games, and everything technical. He loved doing at home projects and could fix anything under the sun that was broken. We Love him and are extremely proud of the man he was. He will be missed dearly.

He is survived by the love of his life, Lynn. His siblings Marie (Husband Edward) and Paul. His Children Trisha, Brenda, and Matthew (Wife Holly). His grandchildren Kaylee (Husband Mike), Paige Mae, Grant, Gavin, Ava, Lily, Brody, and his great-grandson Sonny. His nieces and nephews Jenny (Husband Jared), John, Ted, Thomas (Wife Valerie), Carrie, Alecia, and Paula (Husband John).

He was preceded in death by his Grandparents John and Marie Vermeern, his parents Jack and Margaret, his brother John, and his son Mark.

At his request, there will be no public service at this time. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you take some extra time in the coming weeks to go out in nature and appreciate its beauty with your loved ones. Hug them a little tighter and tell them how much you Love them often.
