Richard was born on February 7, 1927 and passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2017. Richard was a resident of Wisconsin at the time of passing. Dick attended local schools and was a 1945 graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School. He was a U.S. Army Veteran who proudly served his country until his honorable discharge in 1946. Death Date: Richard Walkowski February 7, 1927 - December 28, 2017 U.S. Veteran Service Date: January 5, 2018 Funeral Services honoring Richard's life will be held on Friday, January 5, 2018. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Therese Catholic Church, 2020-91st Street. Interment with full military honors will follow in All Saints Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720-39th Ave., Kenosha, WI, 53144, on Thursday, January 4th from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Memorial: In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Therese Catholic Church, 2020 91st Street, Kenosha, WI, 53143 or the American Heart Association, Memorials and Tributes Lockbox, 3816 Paysphere Circle, Chicago, IL 60674, would be appreciated by the family.
