Richard F. Warren

Richard F. Warren, 50, died August 13, 2007 at Salt Lake City LDS Hospital. Rich was born in Salt Lake City April 30, 1957, son of Harold and Ruth Marie Warren. He grew up in Bountiful, Utah, and attended the schools there, and graduated from USU in 1985. He taught school at Fielding Elementary and worked numerous part-time jobs to provide for his family. At the time of his death he was a second grade teacher at North Park Elementary School. He loved teaching school and enjoyed the production of his annual �Children�s Opera� by the students in his class. Serving an LDS mission at the age of 19 to Auckland, New Zealand was a highlight of his life. Rich met and later married the love of his life, Denise Weeks, in the Logan LDS Temple on November 11, 1983. Together they had 4 beautiful children, two girls and two boys, of whom Rich was very proud. Rich treasured the friends he made in college and throughout his life. He always liked to be around people, especially his family and friends. He always enjoyed a good visit. He also liked to raise animals, go hunting with his dogs and sons, ride horses when he had time, and continued a life-long hobby he shared with his Dad of raising show chickens. He liked spending time at Lake Powell, and participating in family reunions with his extended family. Rich had a strong work ethic and tried hard to instill that in his children. He is survived by his sweet wife, Denise, and four loving children: Shannon, Ryan (currently serving in the Portugal Porto Mission), Alicia, and Corey, as well as his sisters: Julie Piep (Brent), Anthonette �Toni� Bryson (Craig), Karen Green (Bob), Winifred �Wendy� Johnson (Mike), Lorie Warren and brother and sister-in-laws and a large extended family. Rich was preceded in death by his parents. Viewing will be held Friday, August 17, 2007 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Allen�Cranney Mortuary, 420 East 1800 North, North Logan. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 18, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Smithfield Stake Center, 600 East 120 South, Smithfield, with a viewing from 9:30 � 10:45 a.m. prior to services.
