Richard F. Wiedwald

Richard F. Wiedwald, age 75, of Shaler Twp., passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022, after a long battle with Parkinsons. Beloved husband of Kathy (Ostronic); loving father of Laurie (Rob) Moody and Shea (Marc Valangevicia) Wesoloski; proud Pap of Kenzie, Tyler, and Anthony; dear brother of Thomas (Joanne) and the late Cheryl (surviving Charlie) Falkowski; brother in law of Donna (the late Bill) Burt and Mike (Judy) Ostronic. Rick was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan who enjoyed participating in The Great Race and the Marathon. He served in the Marine Corp before working at the European Health Spa, ASCAP, the Oxford Athletic Club and the Mellon Arena. A Heartfelt thank you to all the staff members at the VA Hospital in Aspinwall for their compassionate care. Friends will be received on Monday from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Bock Funeral Home, Ltd., 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11 AM in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, St. Ursula Church, Allison Park. Burial to follow at the Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Donations may be sent to the Parkinson's Foundation.
