Rick grew up in my neighborhood and was good friends in our younger years. I was very saddened to hear of his passing. To the family you have my deepest condolences.

Ric was like a BROTHER I never had, there are so many GREAT MEMORIES, our many golf trips to Maggie Valley NC and Bright Leaf in KY, and of course countless rounds at Delphos Country Club. I was playing with Ric the day he got his HOLE IN ONE, it was Easter Sunday Morning hole 2 at Delphos Country Club, the morning sun was in our eyes, the group on 3 tee, they were with us as well, started yelling they witnessed it, and then we all where yelling too!!

Ric and I were 18 or 19 years old and Mr and Mrs Crouse ask Ric to drive their new CADDY home from Florida, and they flew Rick and I to West Palm Beach airport picked us up and we spend the day with them, after we had dinner, Mr Crouse handed Ric the keys to the CADDY and a $100 bill and said have fun, we were in seventh heaven!! We took the long way home we spent several hours in Daytona Beach driving the Caddy with the sun roof open up and down the beach, actually got sunburned.

Ric and I drove to our great friend Tim Wegison's wedding in Austin Texas, it was 1980 or 1981 I think. I will never forget that drive ever, we got to Texarkana and said we're almost there, 7 or 8 hours later we arrived in Autsin TX, it was another great memory for Tim, Ric and I, we had a great time at Tim's wedding and down town Austin 6th Street and enjoyed the night life. We were young so the next day we set out for Bourbon Street in NARLENS, spent a day there, then drove back to Delphos.
There were many other great road tribes back in the day!!

Tim, Ric, and I spent time at Tim's summer house in Petoskey Michigan, several years back, it was a great time and many memories were made!!

I spent 2 days at Ric's in July of 2023, then I went to Cara and Josh Patterson's my daughter and son-in-law house Kennett Missouri to dog sit while they went on vacation. Ric only lived 2 hours away, he came over and spent three days there, we had a great time, hung out in the pool a lot, it's very humid there in July!! LOL.

I'm really going to miss you Ric, more than you will ever know, see YOU on the OTHER SIDE, my BROTHER!!

Rick was a good friend. We shared many fun times together starting in high school. We shared a love for the 60s era muscle cars and spent countless hours on his '68 Firebird and my '64 Impala SS. You never know when you'll see a friend again so I'm really glad I swung by for a visit in October when I was on .y way back to Texas. As always we had a great conversation over cold beers with good music playing in the background.
