Richard "Rick" M. Williams 76 of Cocoa, FL, formerly of Kenmore and Franklinville, NY, passed away March 9th, 2026 at home in Port. St. John, FL with his wife and children by his side. He was born May 7th, 1949 in Buffalo, NY. The son of the late Franklin and Mildred Williams. Rick attended Sweet Home High School. He retired from Yerkes DuPont in Tonawanda in 2007 where he was a Powerhouse Engineer for 30 years. Rick loved traveling and the outdoors, and of course his bass playing in music (Overdrive, Split Image, Exit, and Bainbridge Boyz), and spending time with family. He is survived by his wife Carol B. (nee Mellenthine) Williams of 45 years, daughter Jennifer (Jeromy) McVige, son Eric (Heather) Williams, and daughter Michelle (Philip) Grinko, and 4 grandchildren Sophia, Lola, Macy, and Daisy, and several loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Franklin and Mildred Williams, brother Ron Williams, and son Shawn Williams. He will be greatly missed.
Relatives and friends may visit the Lombardo Funeral Home (Northtowns Chapel) 885 Niagara Falls Blvd. near Egger/Sheridan Dr. on Wednesday, March 18th from 4-8PM where a prayer service will immediately follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Rick's memory to the Vitas Hospice of Brevard County, FL.
