Richard Stanley Wolk

We were truly saddened to learn the news of Rick's sudden passing. He surely was a great man, friend, and business associate. We will always cherish the fond memories we built together with him and your family. We trust all of you are pulling together for each other during this difficult time. We offer our deepest sympathy and heartfelt support to all of you. May you live each day with Rick in your heart and carry his memory with you. We hope the caring thoughts of him will ease your pain and help to make these memories sweeter and more cherished with each passing day.

Very sad news for the Family and very sad news for the Manchester-Shortsville community. Rick privately funded multiple civic efforts in the community and at the school. Without his assistance efforts such as the weight and cardio equipment located along the walking trail and the other Chamber of Commerce efforts would probably have fallen short. At one time Rick even had a plan for the construction of an all-glass natatorium at the school and a pre-K / after-school facility located between RIG and the school with very substantial donations for both.

Professionally, the Wolk family and RIG were - and are - well known in the architectural business with some of the largest architects in the world such as HDR (Omaha/Toronto), HOK (St Louis), and SOM (Chicago/San Francisco). It was always enjoyable to hear the local name come up in conversation while working on the same projects in different capacities.

With much admiration to Rick, the course he has set for his company, the commitment he has shown to his employees, and the guiding hand he has shown local businesses who were wise enough to ask,

My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there is a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.

Sorry to see to the news today to the Wolk family im feeling your loss so sorry.. Rick was my glass cutin boss from 70s to late 80s...More of a close friend and great personility he allways knew how to make you feel important.so much emotion writing this thinking of all the great memorys and hard working times with him...To Lynda n Family if need anything at all ill be there even to just tell you the great memorys of him..he was a great guy hard worker and very smart and the most muti task guy that iv ever met and allways had that smile of his....will be missed dearly bless him and family..

Rick was a genuine, kind person who was a very respected member of the glass industry. As part of the industry, I was fortunate to know him and learn from him. Deepest sympathies to his family and co-workers.

Sending much love and hugs to all of the Wolk family. I will miss my "Boss" my friend very much. I will miss when I was able to prove him wrong did not happen much but he would smile. Our morning little chats and the pictures of the grandchildren he so proudly shared with me. He was the hardest working person in the plant and still had his phone at his ear . Thank you Rick and all of the Wolk family for all you have done for me and Everyone at RIG truly an amazing family
