My first interaction with Rick while at MMA was when he told me his father was in management with the Campbell Soup Company. Oddly enough I mentioned to Rick that I was from Napoleon OH where Campbell´s largest soup manufacturing plant was located. Eventually after graduation I became this facilities utility engineer for a brief period of time. Rick was a stand up guy and a loyal classmate. My deepest sympathy to his family. John Fronce (74E)

Heaven gained the one and only angel "Rick"! Never know what was up his sleeve or coming out his mouth! His smile made you happy. Our friendship goes beyond 40 years and if we didn´t see or talk to one another for awhile, we picked right up like nothing. I will miss you buddy but I know Gods trying to keep you in line right now!! Our prayers are for Barb and family to feel God´s comfort, peace, strength and love during this difficult time. He will always be beside you so call on Him during your troubled times in this journey. Smell the fresh air and sea water and hold tight to your memories. Heart´s entwined forever sweet friend; love you bunches

To Barbara and family, we send our love and condolences, having worked with Rick for many years and knowing the family for close to forty years, we can say it has been a wonderful time. It´s hard to find such good friends like Rick and Barb. We will miss Rick and his great humor and party spirit and just being a friend indeed. May he rest in peace and Barbara be comforted by our Lord. Much lot to the family, Jerry and Carolyn

I was a 1974 MMA classmate of Rick's and always enjoyed his friendship. He was a dynamic person and a great shipmate. I was sorry that he couldn't make it up to our 50th reunion in Castine last year as I was very much looking forward to seeing him again. RIP
